Starting from today we have a weekly challenge for our students.

On Monday 23 March 2020 the school will be closed to all pupils with the exception of those whose parents have contacted us that are eligible to continue to send their children in to be cared for by our staff.

As today is the last schedule day for Year 12 and 13 students, we want to offer the following guidance:

Academy Principle Award Winners for this week.

I would like to provide reassurance that we are taking all precautionary measures in safeguarding pupils at Sirius Academy North to avoid possible infection of the Covid-19 virus.

The much improved Sirius Academy North Year 8 Boys Rugby team played a strong South Holderness side in the 1/4 final of the Hull Schools Trophy and managed to win the game 22 - 10.

In the semi-final of the Hull Schools Trophy, Sirius Academy North travelled to Sirius Academy West for the big Year 11 derby match and earn a place in the final in their last year at the Academy.

On Thursday I took 8 of our year 10 sports leaders to Ennerdale Leisure Centre to help assist the delivery of a primary school swimming gala.

World Book Day 2020 and a first for Sirius North - staff dress up! It was great to see and hear so many students asking questions about which characters staff were/what books they were from and having discussions about the books that they liked.
