Fundraising – Hull Royal Infirmary visit. Neo natal unit.

[11 Mar 2015]

Isn’t it amazing to see and hear about how the money you’ve raised has had a massive positive impact? I recently had this feeling of elevation when I visited Hull Royal Infirmary Ne Natal Unit to present the cheque to the hospital. The amount raised was £259:30, and we delivered the cheque on Tuesday 3/3/2015. On arrival we were greeted by kind faces and warm hearts as we ventured inside to see just where the money we have raised is going to. And I can speak for all of us at TFA when I say, we’ve done a good job!

All students and staff of TFA should feel amazed to know that we have raised a monumental amount of life changing money for the incredibly cute babies. We was told by a lovely member of staff there that the money raised will by all the essential things to helping the babies live and stuff which will make them more comfortable. These babies have not had the best start to life at all, but the students and staff at TFA can feel pride as we acknowledge the fact, that the money we raised, has helped. As head boy of Thomas Ferens Academy I would like to thank everybody, that donated money to this wonderful cause. After all, it’s true…… “Together, we can do anything”.
