As we approach the summer holidays, I understand that some people may have some worries about not being in school for 7 weeks. Though I'm sure many can't wait for the break!
If you struggle with low mood or anxiety or are worried about a friend, there are people that can help you if school is closed.
www.howareyoufeeling.org.uk has a range of websites, chat services and support offers for parents and young people, A lot of these are available 24/7.
We also know that sometimes you can be worried about how someone is treating you or someone at home. If this is the case, you’re not alone.
Domestic abuse is when someone threatens, bullies, or hurts someone in their family or their relationship. Sometimes it’s called domestic violence, but someone doesn’t need to physically hurt you to be abusive. Abuse has happened in lots of families, and anyone can go through it. It might not always be obvious, and if someone is using bullying or violence to get what they want, that’s domestic abuse.
https://connect.humber.nhs.uk/domestic-abuse-resources-for-young-people/ has support and advice for young people worried about Domestic Abuse.
For all your worries - you can always reach out to Childline. This is another service open 24/7 and can help you if you need it. The number 0800 1111 is free if you need to call.
Please reach out if you need them. There is always support available if you need it.
Hope you have a lovely break!
