The DfE have mandated that schools become a mobile phone and smart device free environment.

From September mobile phones and smart devices are not allowed to be seen or heard on the Academy grounds.

This means before students enter the grounds, phones must be turned off and in school bags not pockets. They must remain turned off and in bags until outside of the grounds at the end of the day

We hope you’re having a fantastic summer break! Just a reminder that when we return in September, full Academy Uniform is expected.

This means:

- Plain black, regular straight leg, full length stamped trousers
- Knee length stamped pencil skirt
- White shirt and year group tie
- School Blazer
- Plain black, polishable, non-branded shoes

The Academy is open daily throughout the holidays for uniform to be checked and approved if needed.

Our Leavers 2026 will receive their GCSE results next Thursday!

Students are invited to collect results from 9.30am.

We can’t wait to see them all and see how they have done. Careers support will also be available on the day.

**UNIFORM REMINDER**

Reminder of uniform expectations:

- Trousers and skirts must be black, straight leg not skinny
Trousers must be from Steady Schoolwear or purchased elsewhere and brought to the Academy to be approved and stamped
- Trouser material must not be elasticated or of a stretchy fit.
- Trouser length must sit to the top of the shoe.
- Skirt from Steady Schoolwear
- Skirt length should sit just above the knee.
