Holocaust Educational Trust to mark The 85th anniversary of the annexation of Austria by the Nazis (The Anschluss).

9m5 were privileged to hear from the Holocaust Educational Trust to mark The 85th anniversary of the annexation of Austria by the Nazis (The Anschluss) during our history lesson today. The students were on a zoom call with a Holocaust survivor, Freddy Berdach BEM, who was eight years old when the Anschluss took place. The students asked fantastic questions which Freddy answered via Zoom. This linked in with what the students were studying currently about the Holocaust.
