International Womens Day Year 10 Girls

[09 Mar 2016]

In order to play a part in International Women’s day today a group of Year 10 girls spent the day at Hull University.
This involved looking round and taking part in a number of interactive sessions in the sports and science departments of the University. This included learning about: physiotherapy, fitness testing, using ultra sound, stem cell research, monitoring and helping athletes with injuries and even included meeting a gold medallist!

The girls represented the school brilliantly and were complimented for their involvement especially in the interactive sessions. They were congratulated for all getting stuck in and for being the school who ‘asked the most questions’.
