Maths Intervention at the KC

15 expert learners from Year 7 have attended a six week maths intervention programme at the KC stadium. This involved spending their Monday afternoons participating in ‘practical maths’ and exploring the home of Hull City and Hull FC. Their mathematically themed missions included estimating the perimeter of the pitch and running up and down the stands to measure the effect on their heart rates.
The group were lively and keen to offer ideas.
