National Railway Museum STEM Trip
[22 Oct 2016]
A group of Year 8 students went to the National Railway Museum in York, on 20th October. They took part in series of activities to showcase the skills needed to become an engineer.
Amongst the activities, students used teamwork to construct a model track; design the interior of a carriage and understand the complexity of controlling signals.
The students were a credit to the Academy and behaved impeccably throughout the trip.
