Sirius North Choir prepare for their Freedom Festival Performance

[14 Jun 2016]

On Monday, 13 of our students took part in a vocal workshop that was led by Paul Field and Kathleen Guthrie from the Stolen Lives Project. This project involves a range of songs, narratives and images which raise awareness of modern-day slavery and campaigns and will play a big part of Hull’s Freedom Festival 2016. It was an interesting and enjoyable afternoon with our students learning new repertoire and lending their voices to perform various solo parts. A big thank you to Paul and Kathleen for coming to visit the students and see their work so far. The choir are looking forward to performing at the Freedom Festival in early September- keep up the good work everyone!
