Staff Vs Students Basketball

Last night the staff took on the ultimate challenge of playing the UN16 Hull School Champions.

After a strong recruitment drive the staff team was looking to maintain their egos and reputation. However, a late note from Mcniff (ingrowing toenail) and Mulligan (doctors orders) meant that the staff had a bare starting 5 of Samoraj, Rodley, Spink, Eccersley and Hayes.

It was a tightly fought intense counter in what can only be described as “tropical” conditions. The staff stumbled out of the tie 29-25 winners with Spink sealing the deal with seconds to go.

A great night was had by all and a massive thank you to Mr Mull for officiating the event!
