Y9 & Y10 Girls Football

We took the Year 9 and Year 10 girls’ football team to the Hull Schools 7 aside football tournament at St Mary’s. While the Year 10’s have already had a taste of school football playing 2 weeks ago with the Year 11’s, the Year 9’s were very much looking forward to their first opportunity to represent school this year.

The girls once again did very well in the bitterly cold conditions, competing in some closely fought games coming away with one win against Boulevard Academy and one draw against a very good Archbishop Sentamu team. Goals from Victoria, Grace, Phoebe and the best toe poked goal I have ever seen from Kacimae all contributed to an excellent evening for the girls.
