Year 7/8 Netball Tournament
Last night, our Year 7 and Year 8 netball teams participated in, for some, their first ever netball tournament, hosted by St Marys. Eager to demonstrate their skills, both teams stepped onto the court with determination. They were ready to make their mark in the competition.
Overall, both teams’ performance in the tournament was commendable and is a testament to working hard in their PE lessons and at netball club. While both teams faced some losses in the competition, the sportsmanship and most of all the resilience of both teams never wavered. Our players showed remarkable improvement throughout the tournament, both individually and as a unit. We look forward to building on this experience and striving for greater success in future competitions.
Year 8 secured an impressive 5th place, while Year 7 gave their all and achieved a 9th place finish. Each and every one of the girls contributed to all of their games, a real team effort with praise and encouragement between one another.
