Year 7/8 Rounders Tournament
Last week, the year 7/8 squad participated in an exciting rounders tournament, competing with determination and team spirit against Kelvin, St Mary’s Red, St Mary’s Blue and Boulevard. Throughout the event, the team displayed impressive effort and teamwork.
Finishing 4th place, the Year 7/8 squad exhibited resilience and determination. The tournament provided a valuable learning experience, highlighting both strengths and areas of improvement. For many students, this was their first experience competing against other schools. The players demonstrated their potential and are motivated to build on this experience for future tournaments.
Lilly H was player of the match for her outstanding bowling skills. Competing in a year 8 tournament, she rose to the challenge, consistently preventing the opposition from scoring off her throws. After a little wobble, Lilly showed remarkable resilience and solidified her role as Key player for the team.
