Year 8 Tootball Team Update
11 yr 8 students travelled over to Archbishop last night, in the 1st round of the Hull Schools cup. Several players were unavailable for selection due to poor behaviour or injury, this resulted in Harley and Cam’Ron making their first appearance for the Academy.

The boys started off brightly and put together a string of attacking plays in the first 5 minutes, however, they was unable to find the target.
20 minutes into the game the possession count was 80/20 to Sirius but several students were unable to convert countless attacks.
Louis Gibson, then neatly converted a fine ball from TJ to make it 1-0, this soon became three by half time.
The final score was 6-1 to SAN, all 11 players were outstanding.
