World Book Day 2020 and a first for Sirius North – staff dress up! It was great to see and hear so many students asking questions about which characters staff were/what books they were from and having discussions about the books that they liked.

In the semi-final of the Hull Schools Trophy, Sirius Academy North travelled to Sirius Academy West for the big Year 11 derby match and earn a place in the final in their last year at the Academy.
Sirius North started brightly and began to dominate the opening stages of the game, playing some good football and creating several opportunities. However, neither Sam Miles nor Alfie Milnes could convert with both students hitting the woodwork.
Today the Year 7 girls football team attended the English Schools 5aside regional football finals in Derby. Due to been crowned the Hull school champions before Christmas, we travelled down to the east midlands to represent Hull in the next round.
