The past couple of days have been eventful for Sirius Academy North. We began the week with our year 11 interviews, whereby, various employers dedicated their time to interview our students to help them experience what it means to go through the employment process.
Engineering Extravaganza – National STEM Learning Centre, York University
14 year 9 female pupils attended The National Stem Centre to take part in an Engineering Extravaganza where they took part in four workshops; designing, building and costing a skyscraper, landing a mars rover, building a rocket car and evaluating materials for use in daily life.
