In the Hull Schools RL Cup Competition at KCOM Craven Park, only Sirius Academy West and Sirius Academy North could raise a team at the Year 9 age group, and what a game it was for a Sirius derby, with some outstanding rugby on show that both sides can be extremely proud of.
The cadets of Sirius CCF were blessed with a weekend of fine weather for their Field Weekend, which saw 13 of the contingent training in Strensall, York.
Sirius Academy North celebrated British Science Week with over 100 pupils from our local primary Schools on Thursday 14th March. Pupils had the opportunity to join other children across the country exploring different themes and topics within Science by making use of the unique facilities and resources at the academy.
CCF Visit to the Defence School of Transport Leconfield
The Defence School of Transport at Leconfield held a special event during the half term as a reward to the best cadets from the RLC cap-badged Cadet Expansion Plan units.
Today we took students from Thorpe Park Primary School and The Greenway Academy visit Hull City Academy, at Bishop Burton. The Students had a thoroughly enjoyable day.
Year 7 Boys RL Yorkshire Plate Round 2 – Carleton High (Pontefract) 18 Sirius Academy North 38
Sirius Academy North Year 7 Boys won their first match of the year after a convincing, and much improved performance against Carleton High from Pontefract in the 2nd Round of the Yorkshire Plate Competition.
On Monday 14th January, we invited year 5 pupils from 5 different primary schools, to come and enjoy a day of performing arts with us for our CAPA transition day.
