Yesterday I took the year 10 boys footballers across to Sirius west for our latest match. It was a tight game which could have gone either way really, and ended in a 4-3 defeat.
The Year 9 football team travelled to Boulevard Academy, with a squad of only 9 players, due to a number of injuries sustained from the previous weeks win.
Girls Year 7 Rugby League – Sirius Academy 2 Thomas Ferens Academy 5
Thomas Ferens Year 7 Girls played their first ever game of full contact rugby league, when they took on Sirius Academy and did themselves proud with a 5 tries to 2 victory.
On Wednesday 1st July, we took 43 students from year 7, 8 and 9 over to Costello stadium for the annual Hull Schools Athletics Championships. This is an event we have had success at in previous years, and we were hopeful of continuing this.
After an incredible time, Sports Day was another great success with a special congratulations to Team Delphin who beat Poseidon to 1st place by only 6 points.
