Basketball Club was launched a few weeks ago and has been a massive success so far. Students across the Academy are donning their trainers and joining Mr Hayes in the Sports Hall on a Monday after school to work on their basketball fundamentals.
Sirius Academy West Year 9 Girls travelled across to Sirius Academy North to play in a friendly match to prepare both teams for the upcoming Yorkshire Qualifiers in January.
Nine boys from Sirius Academy West and four boys from Sirius Academy North were selected for the West of Hull Rugby league team after attending trials in the half term.
A group of Year 8 students went to the National Railway Museum in York, on 20th October. They took part in series of activities to showcase the skills needed to become an engineer.
