Sirius North started brightly and began to dominate the opening stages of the game, playing some good football and creating several opportunities. However, neither Sam Miles nor Alfie Milnes could convert with both students hitting the woodwork.
Today the Year 7 girls football team attended the English Schools 5aside regional football finals in Derby. Due to been crowned the Hull school champions before Christmas, we travelled down to the east midlands to represent Hull in the next round.
On a cold winters night at Andrew Marvell College, the Year 10 football team managed to progress into the second round of the cup after a fantastic 2-1 win.

The impressive Sirius Academy West Year 7 Boys Rugby League Team continued on from their fantastic win away at Castleford Academy by beating Archbishop Sentamu in the Yorkshire Cup Semi Final by 26 point to 0.
The following boys have been honing their cricket skills every Tuesday 15:30 – 17:00 waiting for an opportunity to demonstrate their development, passion and love for the game of cricket! (That paragraph was a delight to type!)

The Year 7 Girls played in their first rugby tournament for Sirius Academy North and can be extremely proud of their performance and improvements over the 3 games played.
