Congratulations to the U13 girls rugby team on their victory in the U13 East Yorkshire Cup yesterday, this means they now move on to the Yorkshire Cup competition next Thursday with the opportunity to move on to the National finals!
A final update on the sports relief 2016 charity work!! As you are aware the sports relief event came to an end on the last day of term, with 88 participants (Staff and students) taking part in the one mile run.
Before the Easter break, the Yr 9 boys, Yr 10 boys and the Yr 9/10 girls represented the academy in the Humber school dodgeball finals at Hull university. Out of the 8 schools in each of the age category, Sirius Academy North had the most teams being represented.
A group of Year 8 students visited the Reckitt Benckiser R&D factory on Thursday 24th March, so they could pitch their idea for a new product to a panel of “Dragons”.
The Healthier Options award recognises catering businesses within Hull and the East Riding area, who are committed to customer care by providing a healthier environment and healthier food choices.
